SmarterSEO started inside an agency. Rank tracking lived in one tool, keyword research in another, local grids in a third, and the client report was a Friday-afternoon spreadsheet. Every tool had its own invoice and its own idea of what a keyword was.

So we built the workspace we wanted: one project per client, every tool reading from the same data, reports that are live pages instead of exports, and a bill that follows usage.
